Shaahid Ali El is a Co-Founder of Ezrach Brain Trust Association. A native of South Central Los Angeles, he has made his presence known in the Leimert Park community as Grand Sheik of the Moorish Science Temple of America and a world renowned Barber, known as  “Shaahid the Barber”. His goal is to help cure the ills of the disenfranchised of the community. What Shaahid enjoys the most is studying and teaching martial arts. He has created a movement in the community, which is a call to recognize the artistry and authenticity of barbering, while incorporating Self Defense as a discipline.  Shaahid, with his passion and critical thinking ability, will ensure all programming and initiatives align with the mission and vision of Ezrach Brain Trust Association.
