Edidiong "DiDi" mendie, PH.D.

Executive Director 

Edidiong Mendie is the Executive Director of Ezrach Brain Trust
Association. She is popularly called Didi. She is a leader in Environmental
Justice and has extensive experience working with marginalized
communities, policy makers, and clean energy stakeholders.
Dr. Mendie is an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at California State
University Sacramento and Texas Southern University. She is also a Foreign
Attorney with over 10 years of experience.
Dr. Mendie is a co-founder/board of trustee of a nonprofit called Mendlife
Global Foundation- which provides humanitarian services to orphans,
internally displaced individuals, and widows in Nigeria.
Dr. Mendie is an editor, mentor, and trained Arbitrator with the Chartered
Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA). She has authored different peer-reviewed articles,
policy report, opinion editorial (op-ed).
Her research interest includes green criminology, environmental justice,
racial and social justice, and terrorism.
Dr. Mendie enjoys community service, cooking, and playing pickleball.
Dr. Mendie holds a Ph.D. in Administrative of Justice from Texas Southern
University, Texas, a Master of Laws Degree in Energy, Environment, and
Natural Resources Law from University of Houston, Texas, a Barrister at
Law Degree from The Nigerian Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree
from University of Benin, Nigeria.
